When I created the first map for my fantasy world, I did so on the back of a discontinued sample from my job. I had no idea what I was doing, so there’s no logic underpinning my sketch. It’s a teensy bit better than my first ever map, which I made using something like Paint. It wasn’t until I discovered Azgaar that I started to learn about things like biome, elevation, temperature maps, etc.
